The weaving lab extensively deals with various technical and designing aspects of handloom, power looms and dobby. The lab is equipped to develop the techniques and skills of students to be a textile designer. In this lab we teach the students different types of dyeing and printing with different methods.
National College of Design consists of in built Food Court / Cafeteria at the campus. The institution encourages only purely vegetarian food. The good ambience in the cafeteria provides a casual, relaxing and comfortable environment for the students.
National College of Design has a well established library that caters the needs of all the students and faculty. There are a wide range of national books, international books and journals in the subject of fashion, design, interiors, textile, illustration, jewellery, technology, animation, multimedia, and management.
This is the place where you will be weaving your dreams. You will use this well equipped studio to design your collection. You will be able to practice and perfect the style and structure of your creation through the tools that are available at your disposal.
What one teaches only fills half your glass-the rest will come from self learning. We understand this and provide you with resources that will encourage you to research and dwell deep into the world of fashion and design. In our library you will find thousands of journals, rare books and manuals that will take you through the magical world.
Technology has become far reaching in its impact in the field of fashion and design. We have the latest and most modern computer lab with all required software and amenities for you to bring your creative ability to life. You will get ample machine time and exposure to latest technologies and tools to experiment with colors. We have trained instructors who will ensure you pick up the relevant skills that will make you competitive in the global arena.
